Celia Cruz was born in Havana Cuba on Oct-21-1924. Celia Cruz was the Queen of salsa. Celia Cruz was going to school to become a teacher but apparently she sing in for a talent show in her school and she won so Celia Cruz started writing songs of salsa. That’s how Celia Cruz started her career of singing. Celia Cruz not only did she sing but she wrote books for children to read about how she started her career of singing .Celia Cruz was admired by a lot of people because a lot of children would read her book or even just check them out of a library to read them and now in days people still read those books she wrote. Celia Cruz contribute machesta lead by led by Cuban émigré machito which blended afro Cuban styles with jazz. Her death took place in Fort Lee, NJ in July 16, 2003 she died of brain cancer.
The reason why I chose Celia Cruz Was because when I was small my grandmother use to all ways be talking about Celia Cruz or some of the time she use to just play her songs over and over again so know it’s like every time I hear someone playing Celia Cruz song I get happy because when my grandmother use to play them she was very happy and it brings me nice memories of my grandmother. I THINK THAT SOUTH CENTRAL NOW IN DAY IS MORE LIKELY TO BE COOL BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE THAT GET ALONG AND THERE IS NOT THAT MUCH PEOPLE FIGHTING .KNOW IN DAY IF A POLICE HITS YOU OR DOES SOMETHING TO YOU NOW YOU CAN PRESS CHARGES ON THEM SO I THINK THAT SOUTH CENTRAL IS A WAY BETTER PLACE THEN IT USE TO BE .THE GOOD THING ABOUT SOUTH CENTRAL IS THAT THERE ARE MORE TEEN INVOLVED IN SPORT AND IN OTHER THING THEY LIKE TO DO AND I THINK THAT ANOTHER GOOD THING ABOUT SOUTH CENTRAL IS THAT THERE ARE NOT MANY PEOPLE THAT ARE RACES THIS DAYS.
